The Tivoli silicone decorative mould is named for the historic town of Tivoli, home to Hadrian’s Villa (2nd century) and the celebrated Villa d’Este. It draws inspiration from the rosettes and sculptural reliefs found in Roman temples, coffered ceilings, and Renaissance palazzos.
In classical architecture, the rosette symbolized harmony, eternity, and divine proportion. Its circular form represented completeness...a motif repeated across furniture, cabinetry, and architectural details to create balance and structure.
The Tivoli mould features layered rosettes and intricate classical flourishes, designed to bring an Old World, architectural feel to furniture, cabinets, walls, and decorative home accents.
We proudly used this motif on our Tivoli Console in the Amy Howard Collection because it transforms furniture into statement pieces — echoing the symmetry, craftsmanship, and timeless beauty of Italian villas.
